Children need to be dressed appropriately so that they can participate in all activities.  Footwear may be either shoes or trainers.  They must be fully enclosed at all times, so no sandals or crocs please. The only jewellery permitted is studs or sleepers for pierced ears.

From September 2020 a preschool jumper, t-shirt, hat and book bags will be available to purchase.  As we have limited space on pegs we recommend parents purchase a book bag for their child to use. The link to the parent ordering site is: https://www.brigade.uk.com/parents/

As our learning environment is both indoors and outdoors, we ask that you make sure your child is equipped for these areas at all times of year. Please ensure their clothing is practical and suitable for the seasonal changes. Waterproof jackets and winter clothing for cold weather; sun hat and protective clothing in the summer months. We ask that sun cream is applied before the children get to school so that they are ready for the day.

Puddle Suits and Coats

Suitable coats – nothing too special as it is likely to get sandy, muddy or wet. A puddle suit for play in the mud kitchen but please make sure it is big enough to be able to go over your child’s winter coat.

Spare Clothes

Just in case we get wet in the water play or have an accident.

Comforters

During the early days and weeks, if your child has a comforter (special teddy bear etc.) which needs to be in school too, we can find a space for that!
